Sky House Design Centre Featured in Living Magazine

8 January 2021

The January edition of Living magazine featured an interview showcasing everything the Sky House Design Centre has to offer.

This month, Living Magazine interviews a member of our team about the design centre, detailing how we started, what we have to offer and what we think 2021 interior design will look like.

The interview really brought to life the intention of Sky House, to offer a one stop shop for architects and designers to find everything they need under one roof for both luxury residential projects and commercial spaces. The wide range of products and services available at Sky House, from architectural glazing to smart home automation systems, truly makes it an all-inclusive concept.

Some of the exhibitors mentioned in the article were IQ Glass, Urban Outdoors and IndigoZest. Giving a brief overview of the products and services supplied by these exhibitors, it is abundantly clear why architects and interior designers choose Sky House for their new build and renovation projects.

The interview went on to ask about key interior design trends in 2021. We explored the idea of zoning and how it is set to stay, even after working from home is not a necessity. Another trend that was identified in the feature was internal glazing, set to grow in popularity in 2021 due to its ability to allow light transmission whilst offering privacy and separation in living spaces.

One last trend that we know will grow and evolve throughout 2021 is biophilic design. The desire to be better connected to nature is not going anywhere, homeowners and designers alike are striving to forge strong connections to nature from within the home, through the use of minimally framed glazing and outdoor living areas.
