Watermark Kitchens recently installed this Modern kitchen with a contemporary design for a current development project in Oxfordshire. Multiple products by Neff were installed including two slide and hide ovens which were installed to create extra cooking space in the kitchen as well as a compact microwave combi oven for quicker and more convenient cooking in a smaller space.
A Neff 900mm ceiling mounted extractor was installed above the centred Modern kitchen island. Installing a ceiling mounted extractor allows you to place your oven and hobs on a breakfast bar or kitchen island, helping you create more surface space for preparing meals.
A Roux stainless steel sink with a mixer tap was integrated into the Silestone Quartz worktops. The breakfast bar adjacent to these worktops is made from solid wood, adding some texture to the Modern kitchen design.
LED lighting was installed along the bottom of the pearl grey and grey pine handle less cabinetry. Handleless Modern kitchens are becoming increasingly popular due to their sleek design with a number of different ways to incorporate handleless cabinetry into your design. The first style is having overhead cabinet doors that hang further than the cabinet itself so you are able to hook your hand underneath and pull it open. You can then have a completely handleless kitchen design with continuous rails that are built into the cabinet. These rails sit behind each door and drawer front, creating a space for you to grip and open them. This in particular can create a nice design as each cabinet front can have a different colour, so when opened you get a range of colour.
Moulded finger-pull styles are also available and can be quite a popular choice. You can also choose a push to open mechanism which eliminates the need for any gaps between drawers, creating a smooth, flat front for the ideal handleless kitchen design.
This installation by Watermark Kitchens has a Modern kitchen design due to the handleless cabinetry and tambour unit with a glass front. Contact the Sky House Design Centre to book a consultation or to book a showroom visit to discuss any ideas you may have.
