IQ Glass - Specialist Glaziers
Architectural Glazing Specialists
Invisio+ is the next evolution of IQ Glass’ award-winning Invisio structural glass fixing system, designed for homes where expansive glazing, minimal detailing and improved thermal performance are all part of the design vision.
Invisio+ enables the inclusion of triple glazing within large-format frameless structural glass. This allows homeowners, architects and designers to create light-filled spaces with uninterrupted views, while supporting greater comfort, energy efficiency and long-term building performance.
Invisio+ is a thermally broken structural glazing fixing system that sits hidden within the surrounding building finishes. Once installed, the glass appears frameless, with no visible capping, framing or supporting structure.
The result is larger areas of glass, cleaner architectural lines and a stronger connection between inside and outside. Whether used for picture windows, glass walls, eaves glazing, structural window seats or contemporary extensions, Invisio+ allows natural light and views to become a central part of the home.

Large areas of glass can enhance a home, but performance is just as important as appearance. Invisio+ has been developed to improve the thermal performance of frameless structural glazing by integrating a thermal break directly into the fixing system.
This helps reduce thermal bridging at the edge of the glass, supporting a warmer and more comfortable internal environment. When used with a Ug 0.7 W/m²K triple-glazed unit, Invisio+ achieves a verified Uw value of 0.5895 W/m²K, tested on a 3m × 6m assembly.
The result is a structural glazing system that allows homeowners to enjoy large, frameless glass designs while supporting modern expectations for comfort, energy efficiency and long-term performance.

Traditional structural glass installations often use a standard L-angle fixing method. This can still be suitable for many designs, but Invisio+ offers a more advanced solution where higher thermal performance, triple glazing and refined detailing are required.
The concealed Invisio+ fixing profile has been designed to accommodate deeper glass units, enabling the use of triple glazing while maintaining the clean frameless appearance expected from contemporary glazing design.

Invisio+ has also been designed with sustainability in mind. The structural fixing profiles are manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium, achieving an embodied carbon of just 0.89 kgCO₂/kg.
Alongside its improved thermal performance, the system can also be used with low-carbon glass substrates, helping homeowners and design teams make more considered choices when creating high-performance, future-focused homes.

Sky House Design Centre allows homeowners, architects and designers to explore premium glazing systems in person and understand how different details can affect the look, feel and performance of a home.
A dedicated Invisio+ feature will allow visitors to compare the system with standard L-angle structural glass fixing, helping to show the difference in thermal design, concealed detailing and triple-glazed capability.
Whether you are designing a contemporary extension, new build home or major renovation, Invisio+ provides a route to achieving large-scale frameless glazing with improved thermal performance, low-carbon material specification and minimal architectural detailing.
