The kitchen combined white cabinetry with dark pine finishes for a luxurious kitchen design, perfect for the small space available. The finishing touch was a bright orange glass splashback over the wall side kitchen cabinets. This splash of colour adds interest to what could have been a bland and impersonal space but, thanks to the kitchen experts at Watermark, is now a lively and stimulating corner of the open plan living space.

German kitchen design trends were prevalent throughout the client's brief for a handless kitchen. Modern kitchens, like this one, tend to opt for a handless kitchen design where the kitchen cabinet doors sit over the outside of the kitchen frame and have no handles for a completely flat, seamless kitchen design. A fridge, freezer and dishwasher were all integrated into the kitchen design and are hidden behind the handleless doors to provide the perfect seamless design throughout the contemporary kitchen.
