Sky House Design Centre Showroom COVID Secure Guidelines

1 October 2020

The latest Covid safe guidelines for visiting the showroom.

The Sky House Design Centre is open for visitors, by appointment only, in line with government guidelines. The safety of our staff and visitors is of paramount importance to us at the design centre and that’s why we’ve put strict social distancing and safety procedures in place.

Our teams underwent a staggered return to office working throughout the months of June and July to ensure all new process’ and one way systems ran smoothly before inviting visitors back. Throughout the first few weeks we closely monitored the new procedures to ensure all safety guidelines were adhered to.

At the end of the process, the Sky House Design Centre was successfully declared a Covid safe workplace and we were able to extend our process to allow for showroom visitors.

As part of our safety measures, the number of visitors allowed in the design centre are being limited. This is why we are only accepting visitors that have booked through the showroom team, to ensure we can monitor capacity and stagger arrival times.

Prior to your visit you will be sent a pre-registration email detailing the safety procedures for the showroom and instructions on how to sign in remotely via your personal phone, reducing the need for shared surfaces. Once you sign in on the day you will then be reminded of the safety procedures.

Adhering to social distancing, when you arrive for your appointment we ask that you stay in your vehicle and let the team know you have arrived by phone, this way we can confirm the reception area is clear and avoid congestion.

Upon entering the showroom, all visitors will have their temperature taken and be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided. Staff members and visitors will be required to wear masks whilst travelling around the building during meetings. Once seated in a designated meeting area, social distancing can be adhered to at all times so masks are not required. All meetings are either held in open spaces or highly ventilated areas off the building, with 2 metres between visitors and staff at all times.

Whilst conducting showroom visits, our staff members will follow the strict one way system, allowing safe distances to be kept from other visitors at all times. Any shared surfaces, samples and showroom installations that are touched for demonstration through the visit will be sanitised before and after each use.

We have introduced paperless visits, whereby all marketing materials and other information will be sent to you electronically after your visit to avoid any shared paperwork/materials.

For any further details or queries regarding booking your showroom visit, call us or email us to speak to the team.
