Many of the Sky House Design Centre tenants have been featured throughout February until April in a range of magazines including Real Homes, Grand Designs and Build It.
Spiral UK was featured in the February issue of Build It magazine in their ‘Design Ideas: 6 Great Staircases’ feature. The staircase featured is from their High Acres Barnet project. The staircase itself is built in steel, with channel outer strings and a box-section framework. This staircase goes through all three levels of the home starting from the basement. For a similar design, the cost would be between £50,000 to £60,000.
Urban Front was featured in the February issue of Real Homes in their ‘Make An Entrance’ editorial piece. The Urban Front door shown in this article is the Raw Pivot which is available in steel-reinforced European Oak, American Walnut, Iroko, Fumed Oak or any RAL colour. These doors are made to measure up to H300xW150cm and costs are from £7,080.
Urban Front was also featured in the March issue of Build It. Urban Front are now selling door accessories including incredibly designed door handles. IQ Furniture was featured in the March issue of Real Homes as part of the ‘Real Homes Hotlist’. IQ Furniture was number 9, titled ‘One-stop Shop’, where IQ Glass and the Sky House Design Centre were also mentioned. Urban Front was also featured in the April issues of both Build It and Grand Designs. Their feature in Build It was part of the ‘Timber Doors and Windows’ editorial, showing their E80 Pivot door in Iroko, oiled with a side lite in clear glass with option 11a handle. This door is 1,200mm W x 2,400mm H and is priced at £5,015 with the door handle being £580.
In the April issue of Grand Designs, Urban Front was featured in the ’10 Steps to Build Your Own Home’ article. ‘Don’t forget about kerb appeal’ was step 10, where the front door, installed by Urban Front, was matched with the cladding on the home to add to the overall chic and Scandinavian feel. This front door is £7,600.
