Passivhaus Windows and Doors

A range of the most innovative Internorm windows and doors are on show at the Sky House Design Centre.

Internorm Windows and Doors are the world’s leaders in PassivHaus window and door design, creating beautiful windows and doors that achieve some of the highest performance criteria available. A range of the most innovative Internorm windows and doors are on show at the Sky House Design Centre.

The Internorm HS 330 Lift and Slide Door, on show at Sky House Design Centre, can be designed to massive sizes able to fill an entire opening of 2.8m high by 5.8m wide. These composite lift and slide doors are fully PassivHaus Certified by the prestigious Rosenheim Institute in Germany and are able to achieve a thermal insulation value of Uw 0.73 W/m2K which is fantastic. In addition they have been tested to withstand gale force winds of up to 2000 Pa pressure and driving rain at 600 Pa pressure.

The Internorm XL lift and slide door was recently featured in the May issue of Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine . The feature covered the topics of security and quality which the Internorm windows and doors exceed in all aspects. The windows and doors are triple glazed as a standard and are Passivhaus certified to enable them to be used on even the most demanding Eco House project.

In addition to these impressive XL lift and slide doors, two examples of the beautiful HF 310 composite windows and doors from Internorm are also on show at the Sky House Design Centre. These PassivHaus certified windows and doors are available in different external framing in designs with their Home Pure and Studio lines available to be viewed at the Sky House Design Centre.

These composite windows can be designed to an impressive thermal insulation value of Uw 0.69 W/m2K enabling them to be used on PassivHaus projects or Zero Carbon homes.
