Happy new year! We hope that you had a good break. Sky House reopened its doors today for the first time in 2019 and we have already hit the ground running.
Some of our exhibitors are currently busy completing various updates to their showrooms to showcase new or updated products available in 2019.
Mondrian Glazing is installing two screens of their thermally broken steel window and door system within the IQ Glass ground floor office at Sky House. These steel screens are thermally broken and include a double-glazed unit. They will be used to create a new, industrial-themed meeting room within Sky House.
The Belgravia entrance door is being installed within the Design Centre and will showcase the conservation door available from IQ as part of the Apertio range.
Another update is a new entrance door to Sky House and the IQ Glass offices. Since we opened in 2014 aluminium bifold doors from IQ Glass have been used as the main entrance door to Sky House and the design centre. These are being replaced by a new entrance door available from IQ; the Apertio Solid. This is a contemporary pivoting entrance door which is available with a broad range of finishes. The door that is being installed has a beautiful porcelain exterior finish with a rusted steel effect and a blacked oak interior finish.
We are very excited to see the new door installation and are sure it will create a real ‘wow’ factor to the entrance at Sky House.
The construction and installation work for the entrance doors is being completed between Friday 11th January and Sunday 13th January 2019. During this time access to Sky House will be through a temporary entrance door.
If you are planning on visiting Sky House on Friday 11th or Saturday 12th January 2019 we recommend that you make an appointment with the exhibitor you are planning to see. They will be able to let you know the best entrance to use for their showroom and your access requirements.
