The 40,000 sq ft of space at Sky House is within easy reach of Heathrow airport and, adjacent to the M4 corridor, it allows cast and crew easy access from the cluster of major cities such as Bristol, Birmingham and London.

Amersham is no stranger to movie shoots. Based in the rolling hills of the Chilterns, Amersham has a heritage which dates back to the Viking era. Described as a pretty market town with 16th Century stone and flint cottage architecture, the town still preserves its Grade II listed charm and was the chosen Buckinghamshire film location for Four Weddings and a Funeral, Poirot, Midsomer Murders and others.
Just a six mile drive away in the neighbouring town of Beaconsfield, some scenes from the popular series, Downtown Abbey were filmed and even the first James Bond movie, Thunderball’s opening scene is filmed outside the Saracen’s Head on London Road.
Beaconsfield is also home to The National Film And Television School which attracts students from all over the world.

Pinewood studios, one of the most famous London filming locations as the set for iconic British comedy ‘Carry On’ movies from the 1960’s attracted millions of television viewers aired during prime time TV. Pinewood Studios has been the filming destination for Hollywood movies and continues to host many types of commercials, series and movies today.
Junction 19 from the M25 to Leavesden, Watford (just a 15-20 minute drive away from Sky House) is the entrance to the world-renowned Warner Bros Studio and Harry Potter filming location and studio tour to which needs no introduction.

Sky House is the perfect Buckinghamshire film location for commercials, TV or movie sets. As you drive up to the entrance you are greeted by double height glass and enter through a large slim framed elegant Pivot glass door into the reception which is a minimal design, ‘a nod’ to brutalist architecture. The industrial concrete bored hole walls are the exact style as seen in the iconic 1980’s movie, Total Recall produced by Ronald Schusett which was an ideal back drop for presenting a futuristic city of a Utopian view.
To the left of the building, a 6.5m tall glass façade which is a fully automated vertical sash window to which cars can easily drive through. The glazed front elevation could easily be used for a plethora of applications including private residential, or even an airport entrance.
Inside the showroom adjacent to the 6.5m tall glass façade is a cantilevered floating glass box which was used as a scientific lab in one of the many scenes filmed at Sky House for Richard Armitage’s debut Audible book advertisement, Geneva, a psychological thriller.
As you meander through the ground floor of the Buckinghamshire film location a series of pocket exhibits of curved glass, floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, luxury brand interior solutions including futuristic residential lift systems, a dedicated home cinema space plus, a large state-of-the-art auditorium which is often booked to deliver key note speeches and CPD (Continual Professional Development) presentations to architects and design professionals.
