Innovative Glazing Design for Residential Projects

Our Glazing Innovation Corner showcases the latest glazing products from IQ Glass and Sieger Systems. Large format Pivoting Doors, Composite Sliding Doors, Heated Glass technology and frameless windows can all be seen.

The Vitra Pivot window from IQ Glass is showcased, offering a slim aluminium pivoting window available to extremely large sizes. The example on show measures 1.8m wide by 2.8m tall in a single opening. With stainless steel handles and ironmongery, you can feel the quality of this high-end glazing product.

Sieger Systems Composite Lift and Slide Door is on show.

These impressive timber Sliding Doors can be designed to massive sizes able to fill an entire opening of 2.8m high by 5.8m wide. The composite lift and slide doors are fully certified by the prestigious Rosenheim Institute in Germany and are able to achieve a thermal insulation value of Uw 0.73 W/m2K which is fantastic. In addition they have been tested to withstand gale force winds of up to 2000 Pa pressure and driving rain at 600 Pa pressure.

Frameless heated glass units are the perfect solution for heating difficult spaces or for use in swimming pools to stop condensation build-up. A transparent metal oxide coating creates a clear conductive element within the glass unit. When electricity is passed through it a radiant heat is generated. You can also see the control unit of the highly technical system, change the temperature and feel the heat.
